Administrative Assistant / Client Service Coordinator

Tampa, Florida - PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is looking for an Administrative Assistant / Client Serivce Coordinator to provide administrative support for all departments from our Tampa, Florida Regional Office.

 

Duties Include:

  • Preparation of electronic reports and proposals for our clients across multiple regions and service lines.
  • Performs a variety of office related duties: Answering telephones, screening callers, relaying messages, greeting and referring visitors to appropriate staff; processing incoming mail, ordering supplies.
  • Performing errands, such as bank deposits.
  • Operating general office equipment and computer software.

Desired Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of professional experience in an office setting.
  • At least two years of customer service experience.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A valid drivers license is required.

 

 

 

Staff Consultant

Hermitage, Tennessee - PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is looking for an entry level Staff Consultant to work out of our Mid-South Region.

Duties Include:

  • Providing high quality Environmental Site Assessment reports by ensuring that the report is completed to ASTM and PM standards.
  • Completing necessary site walkovers, data collection and evaluation.
  • Responsible for data management, report writing, and project coordination.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
  • Ability to work in various settings and climates.
  • Excellent oral and written, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and excel in a fast paced environment.

Field Scientist

Lansing and/or Berkley, Michigan - PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is looking for an entry level Field Scientist to work out of our Lansing and/or Berkley, Michigan Regional Offices.

Duties Include:

  • Completion of soil and/or ground water sampling.
  • Geoprobe direct push drill rig operation.
  • Conducting geophysical surveys and data evaluation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
  • Ability to work in all climates and weather conditions.
  • Ability to work overtime and travel as needed.
  • A valid drivers license is required.
  • Successful completion of 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER 29 CFR 1910.120 is a plus 

 

Industrial Hygienist

Tampa, Florida - PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is looking for an energetic Industrial Hygienist to work out of our Tampa, Florida regional office.

Duties include:

  • Abatement oversight and air monitoring.
  • Performing asbestos, lead, and hazardous materials inspections and surveys.
  • Performing Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Assessments.
  • Assisting with Phase I and/or Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Must have Florida Mold Assessor License.
  • Lead Inspector / Risk Assessor Certificaitons are required.
  • NIOSH 582 Certification is preferred.
  • At least six months experience with asbestos abatement oversight and air monitoring.
  • At least six months experience conducting mold and/or IAQ assessments.
  • Experience with Phase I and/or Phase II ESAs is a plus.

Staff Geologist

Sacramento, California - PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is looking for a talented Staff Geologist to work in our new Western Region. The Staff Geologist will be responsible for both field and office duites.

Duties include:

  • Site walk-overs
  • Soil, water, and/or soil-gas/vapor sampling
  • Client interactions
  • Project coordination
  • Report writing

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
  • Currently hold the California Geologist In Training (GIT), or the ability to obtain the California GIT within the first year.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering.

 

Senior Scientist / Geologist

Sacramento, California - PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is looking for an experienced Scientist / Geologist to work in our new Western Region. The Senior Scientist / Geologist will be responsible for development of the company's technical plans.

Duties include:

  • Developing the company's technical plans and regulatory activities required to acheive long range and annual goals.
  • Update personnel on regulatory changes and their implications on current and/or future work projects.
  • Serve as a technical expert by providing advice, counsel, and peer review to ensure technical appropriateness and accuracy of field work.
  • Maintain technical proficiency of team members.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that will contribute to achieving the company's goals.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in a technical discipline is preferred.
  • Possession of a California PG or PE license is required.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • 10 years of experience in environmental sciences, geology, hydrogeology or engineering.

 

Senior Industrial Hygienist

Sacramento, California - PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is looking for an experienced Senior Industrial Hygienist to work in our new Western Region.

Duties Include:

  • Abatement oversight and air monitoring
  • Asbestos, lead and hazardous materials inspections and surveys
  • Assisting with Phase I and Phase II ESAs as needed.
  • Manage and develop junior level staff

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
  • NIOSH 582 Certification preferred.
  • California Certified Asbestos Consultant is required.
  • CDPH Lead Certifications are required.
  • At least 10 years of experience with building material surveys, mold assessment and evaluation, and other IH areas.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Research Consultant

Montville, New Jersey - PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is looking for two entry level Research Consultants to join our team. The Research Consultant will be responsible for assisting the Due Diligence Department with the initial steps of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Gather and review data from diverse sources. Determine if additional or alternate information is needed.
  • Determine accuracy and relevancy of information gathered.
  • Work with various municipalities to acquire and review necessary information; such as city directory abstracts, municipal, state, and federal government files.
  • Discuss and implement process improvements in area of focus.
  • Provides research assistance for all business profit centers.
  • Assist with the management and upkeep of PM Archives.

Desired Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience or coursework with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
  • Experience or coursework with Industrial Hygiene.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

 Mid-Level Environmental Consultant

Memphis, Tennessee - PM Environvmental, Inc. (PM) is looking for a talented Mid-Level Environmental Consultant to work within our Due Diligence Group. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Completion of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and related Due Diligence Projects
  • Coordination of workloads and staff in Memphis.
  • Training staff members
  • Peer Review of reports

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology or Related field.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong organization skills.
  • Must have keen attention to detail.
  • Must have 4 to 8 years of related experience, progressivly increasing management responsiblities preferred.

 

 Due Diligence Staff Consultant

Charlortte, North Carolina - PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is looking for a talented Due Diligence Environmental Professional to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. PM is a growing, 20+ year old environmental and engineering services company with offices in 9 states. The Due Diligence Environmental Professional will be responsible for writing high quality reports; and will report to the National Due Diligence Manager.

Desired Professional Qualifications

Mid-Level Environmental Consultant

Lansing, Michigan - Experienced Mid-Level (4 to 8 plus years of experience) Environmental Consultant in Lansing, Michigan Corporate office. Position is full-time working in our Due Diligence Group. Job description includes the completion of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and related due diligence projects, coordination of workloads and staff in mid-Michigan, training staff members, peer review of reports, and business development. Progressively increasing responsibilities in management required.  Must exhibit leadership skills, strong organization skills, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or related field required.
