Mid-South Region

PM Environmental, Inc. (PME) was retained by the City of Florence to provide consulting and grant preparation assistance for a Hazardous Substance and Petroleum Grant Request with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

PM Environmental, Inc. (PME) was retained to provide initial abatement and emergency response actions at the Food Mart convenience store that utilizes USTs for storage of motor fuels for retail sale.

PM Environmental, Inc. (PME) teamed with three other consulting firms and was awarded the Statewide Environmental Services contract managed by the Tennessee Department of Finance and Adminstration’s Real Property Management Division.

PME conducted additional phases of site characterization and performed several groundwater monitoring events.  The release was located within a 500-foot radius of 12 private drinking water wells.  Approximately 20 groundwater monitoring wells are associated with the site.

PME also manages various other environmental issues for P&L Railway such as Wastewater Discharge Permit Renewals, and managing groundwater sampling events at a site involving Diesel Fuel releases.

PM Environmental, Inc. (PME) was retained to complete a Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and cost to remediation documentation for the Warrior Asphalt Refining Property in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

PM Environmental, Inc. (PME) was retained to complete a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) at a Former Metal Plating Facility located in Johnson City, Tennessee.

PM Environmental, Inc. (PME) was retained to complete Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments on multiple properties that have been single use commercial buildings to multi-tenant properties.

PME was retained to complete a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) at the Vacant Property located on the Coosa River in downtown Gadsden, Alabama.  The property was undeveloped, but the Phase I ESA revealed the potential for landfill use from adjacent properties with development.

PME was retained to provide a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) at a 90 year old textile mill located near downtown Rockwood, Tennessee.  The property had been a textile mill since 1919 with various tenants and mill configurations.

The City of Chattanooga, Tennessee was awarded EPA Assessment Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) and Cleanup grants.  PM Environmental, Inc. (PME) responded to a Request for Qualifications from the City of Chattanooga and made the shortlist of 10 firms to interview.

PME completed all mitigation, investigation and installation of a multi well recovery network over five acres as part of the corrective action system within a 18 month period.  The remediation system has had a 96% uptime and has mitigated most of the free phase hydrocarbon (fph).

PM Environmental, Inc.’s (PME) client is a 550 unit retail gasoline station and convenience store operator with locations in Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The majority of their locations are in Tennessee and Alabama where PME is the Corrective Action Contractor (CAC).
