PM Environmental Promotes Adam Patton to Vice President

PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is proud to announce the promotion of Adam Patton to Vice President.

Patton joined PM in 2001 and has played a critical role in projects across PM’s geographic and service line footprints, including large industrial and manufacturing plant decommissioning and brownfield redevelopments involving vapor encroachment, hazardous materials surveys, asbestos abatement, demolition, wastewater treatment, hazardous waste, and soil and groundwater remediation and management.

Nearly two decades of industry experience as well as proven project management skills, expertise in site investigations, remediation, brownfield redevelopment, and environmental compliance, made Patton a natural fit for the promotion. Prior to this position, Patton served as National Manager of Site Investigation Services at PM.

“We have a deep bench of expert staff across all of our service lines and are uniquely positioned to perform and manage projects from start to finish with in-house resources,” said Patton.  “I’m looking forward to coordinating our whole team and collective talents to deliver for our clients.”

In his new role, Patton will serve as program director for PM’s complex multi-service line projects, while promoting PM as a leading environmental consulting firm. Patton will also helm PM’s technical assistance team program to support the growth of PM’s technical staff and maintain PM’s position at the forefront of industry and regulatory trends and emerging contaminants.

“Adam is a visible expert in the field and his strengths lie in his ability to manage projects with many different service lines. This promotion plays into those strengths and allows Adam to further support clients and PM in the best way,” said Beth Sexton, Chief Operating Officer at PM.

Patton received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University where he majored in Environmental Studies with a specialization in Environmental Economics. He is also a Certified Hazardous Waste Materials Manager and meets the definition of an Environmental Professional as defined by All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI).

Patton will continue to enhance PM’s team of experts who have in-depth experience in managing environmental projects, building facilities and energy projects with a constant focus on helping our clients clearly understand their risks, allowing them to make sound, well-informed business decisions.

“Adam is a showcase of one of PM’s values, which is to promote from within. He started as an entry level field staff in our Lansing office and has, over the years, become a strong technical resource. We are very excited to see him continue on this journey in his new role,” said Sexton.
