PM Environmental, Inc. recently finished a complete expedited Due Diligence for a portfolio of 45 retail gasoline stations and convenience stores in mid Michigan for a Fortune 100 Financial Institution.

Mr. Matt Gierlowski recently joined PM Environmental, Inc. as a Staff Researcher. Matt graduated this past spring from Michigan State University with a degree in International Relations. His responsibilities include Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Research, Soil Boring Logs, CAD and Analytical Tables.

Ms. Kamra Knop has recently been hired at the Lansing location as a CAD Operator. Ms. Knop is currently attending Lansing Community College to receive a degree in Civil Engineering.

Ms. Nicole Freund is one of PM Environmental, Inc.’s newest Staff Consultants in the Hazel Park office. She graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado. Ms. Freund is responsible for managing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.

Ms. Jennifer Rezmer, a graduate from Central Michigan University has joined the Grand Rapids staff as a Project Consultant. With her B.S. in Environmental Science and Biology and previous experience at Innovative, she is currently managing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.

Mr. Glen Tolan joined PM Environmental as a Project Consultant with five years of experience at AKT Peerless and a B.S. in Environmental Geo Science from Michigan State University. Currently Glen works on Due Diligence and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and Baseline Environmental Site Assessments.

Grant DeWitt of PM Environmental, Inc. to present at the 2006 National Ground Water Association (NGWA) International Ground Water and Environmental Law Conference, Chicago, Illinois, July 6-7, 2006

The following featured paper will be presented at the conference by Grant W. DeWitt, P.G., PM Environmental, Inc., Hazel Park, Michigan and James S. Smith, Ph.D., C.P.C., Trillium, Inc., Coatesville, Pennsylvania.

First-Order Exponential Regression of Ethylbenzene/Xylenes Ratios for Estimating Release Date

A model is proposed to estimate a “hydrocarbon release or significant source reduction date range” (RDR) based on groundwater data exhibiting anaerobic, first-order exponential biodegradation decay. Groundwater data for sites with known release or source termination/reduction dates are compared with model predictions.

PM Environmental (PME) is please to announce that James Charles, PE, CPG has joined PME as a District Manager/Senior Consultant. Mr. Charles has over 19 years experience developing and implementing engineering and environmental projects across the US. His environmental experience includes site remediation, liability evaluations, closure strategies, RCRA corrective action, multi-site acquisition/divestiture evaluations, EHS compliance/training and implementing ISO14001 management systems. He has supported environmental work at petroleum refineries, retail service stations, automotive manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, gas/electric utility, and general manufacturing facilities. Mr. Charles will help expand PME’s strategic due diligence practice and strengthen our remediation and EHS compliance programs.

October 2005

PM Environmental, Inc. acquires Third Geoprobe – PM Environmental, Inc. has acquired another Model 6610DT Track Mounted Geoprobe to their environmental field services fleet.  This model is a high tech remote control unit that can traverse hazardous sites and collect samples from a remote location.  This unit is capable of collecting sub surface soil and groundwater samples from depths of over 100-feet.

October 2005

Ms. Kristina Richmond recently joined PM Environmental, Inc. as a Staff Researcher. Her responsibilities include Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Research, Soil Boring Logs, CAD and Analytical Tables. Ms. Richmond interned at the Livingston County Drain Commissioner’s Office for over two years after receiving her B.S. in Environmental Studies and Applications from Michigan State University.

Ms. Lindsay Acord is the new Administrative Assistant at PM Environmental, Inc.’s Hazel Park office. Ms. Acord is responsible for general administration and organization at her location. She received her Associates in Business Administration in spring of 2005.

August 2005

Heather Wood has returned to the Hazel Park, Michigan, office after spending time in South Korea. Ms. Wood, a Project Consultant with PME, returns from a leave of absence she took to take advantage of an opportunity to travel to South Korea where she and her husband lived for one year. Ms. Wood returns to PME’s Hazel Park Due Diligence Group and also provides expertise in the area of regulatory compliance.

Mary Clemas has been promoted to Lansing, Michigan Administrative Assistant. Clemas is responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Human Resources and general administration of the Lansing, Michigan corporate office.

Lisa Eimers has been promoted to an administrative position responsible for Billing in the Lansing Corporate office.

PM Environmental Inc. Launches Web Portal

PME announced the launch of an internal Intranet Web Portal that automates and streamlines many of the company’s routine tasks. As the name “Portal” infers, the custom web based application is intended as the starting place for many of PME’s technical and business resources; initially for PME staff and eventually for PME’s customers. PM Environmental Successfully Completes 60 site Major Oil Due Diligence Projects on Fast Track.

PME recently completed two multi-site Due diligence projects each involving the acquisition of 30 major Oil gasoline stations/C-stores in the SE Michigan area. The projects were performed concurrently and demonstrate PME’s specific competence with multi-site complex due diligence projects. [Read more...]
