PME provides mold assessments including moisture/water intrusion evaluation, pre and post abatement bulk and air sampling, and evaluation of mold-impacted building materials and contents. PME generates comprehensive reports including observations, sampling data and evaluation, and mold abatement recommendations. PME currently provides mold assessment services to more than a dozen insurance companies, home inspectors as well as individual homeowners. PME mold consultants have the credentials and training for all levels of assessment which are completed under the direction of a Certified Industrial Hygienist with a PhD in botany.

Asbestos Surveys

PME has a team of professionals who perform asbestos surveys and sampling related to OSHA and NESHAP regulations. Did you know that it is mandatory to have an asbestos survey performed by Michigan accredited inspectors? Did you know a building owner or employer is responsible to identify the presence, location and quantity of all suspect asbestos containing building material in buildings built prior to 1981. All building materials, except wood, glass, and fiberglass, are considered suspect asbestos containing building materials, even if the building was constructed recently. Besides the pre-1981 building survey, an asbestos survey is also required anytime a renovation or demolition occurs or if there is any disturbance of building materials regardless of the building construction date. PME provides comprehensive asbestos surveys, assists in obtaining asbestos abatement bids, and provides operations and maintenance programs to help manage asbestos in place.

PME is one of the leading consultants providing methamphetamine sampling services including abatement recommendations and post abatement clearance sampling. PME has extensive experience assisting property owners in assessment and decontamination of structures where methamphetamine occurred.
