PM Environmental Promotes New National Managers of Site Investigation Services and Retail Petroleum Services

PM Environmental, Inc. (PM) is proud to announce the promotions of leadership staff to new and expanded roles within the company. PM has promoted Lee Walter and Jennifer Ritchie to co-National Managers of Site Investigation Services (SIS), and Curt Lichy to National Manager of Retail Petroleum Services.

“As part of PM’s continued growth and expansion, we are pleased to announce these exciting changes in leadership within the SIS and Midwest Retail Petroleum Departments,” said Beth Sexton, Chief Operating Officer at PM.

Ritchie has served clients in over thirty states and seven U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regions since 1998. She works out of PM’s Berkley, Michigan office and has been with PM for 12 years, most recently as Regional Manager of Site Investigation Services. Ritchie has managed thousands of Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and remediation projects including TSCA regulated sites and has also received regulatory closure on multiple Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) sites. As National Manager, Ritchie will oversee all of PM’s transactional site investigation services projects.

“I am excited for this opportunity to help lead the Site Investigation Services group and am looking forward to working with such a great team of individuals to obtain a common goal of working hard for our clients and being the best in our field,” said Ritchie.

As a licensed professional engineer in six states, Walter has over 27 years of experience in the environmental consulting market.  He has extensive experience in project management of both large and small remedial construction projects, regulatory compliance programs, and petroleum storage tank system design/operation. Walter joined PM in 2019, having previously worked at both small, regional firms and a large, global firm. In his new role as National Manager, Walter will manage PM’s remediation and vapor mitigation programs. He works out of PM’s Knoxville, Tennessee office.

“As PM Environmental continues to grow, I am honored to be entrusted to help lead our Site Investigation Service group into the future and refining our systems to provide superior services for our clients,” said Walter. “It is an exciting time here at PM and in this new role I will work hard to boost both operational excellence and client service.”

Lichy, who was previously PM’s Regional Manager of Retail Petroleum Services before his promotion to National Manager, joined PM’s Berkley, Michigan office in 2017. With over 20 years of industry experience, he specializes in Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) risk evaluation, remediation, and corrective action projects. Lichy’s promotion to National Manager comes at a time of steady growth and expansion for PM’s Midwest LUST department.

“I am looking forward to the increased responsibilities with this new role and continuing to build up and expand the LUST footprint,” said Lichy. “We have a great group of people on the team and I am looking forward to what this next year will bring.”

PM Environmental, founded in 1992 by Peter Bosanic and Mike Kulka, has seen rapid development in the last five years, with a current YTD growth of 22%. Additionally, PM ranks as one of the top 20 environmental due diligence providers in the nation by EDR ScoreKeeper and as a Top 200 Environmental Firm by Engineering News-Record.

“These changes are all part of the continued growth of PM and will open new opportunities for staff as they continue to grow and be promoted internally throughout the PM organization,” said Sexton.
