PM Environmental Welcomes Curtis Lichy as Regional Retail Petroleum Services Manager

PM Environmental is proud to announce the addition of Curtis (Curt) Lichy, P.G., as Regional Retail Petroleum Services Manager. 

Located in Berkley, Mich., Lichy will be responsible for all aspects of the technical quality and management of PM’s major petroleum clients. 

Lichy is a certified Professional Geologist (P.G.) with nearly 20 years of experience in environmental risk assessments for retail petroleum Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) sites, Underground Storage Tank (UST) removal, site investigation and remediation activities, and groundwater, soil and air sampling.

At PM, he will be a part of the senior management team that strategically plans the growth and operations of the company as well as oversee project management, including marketing and client development, personnel oversight, field investigations, and report preparation. 

Lichy received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in geology from Wayne State University. 

Over the years, he has worked in the retail petroleum industry as a senior project manager at ATC Group Services LLC, and project manager, project hydrogeologist, staff hydrogeologist, associate geologist and staff at Groundwater & Environmental Services. He also worked as a staff geologist at Geo Resources. 

He’s currently a member of the Michigan Association of Environmental Professionals (MAEP) and American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG). He is also a Certified Professional Geologist (CPG), and an Underground Storage Tank Professional (CP) in Michigan. 

“I’m looking forward to continuing to grow professionally with a very diverse and respected company,” said Lichy. “I hope to utilize my experience and skills to expand the Retail Petroleum Group at PM Environmental.”

Lichy will enhance PM’s team of experts who have in-depth experience in managing environmental projects, building facilities and energy projects with a constant focus on helping our clients clearly understand their risks, allowing them to make sound, well-informed business decisions.
