John Hargraves Talks Brownfields at the Georgia Environmental Conference

John Hargraves, P.G., brownfield group regional manager at PM Environmental will be speaking at the 10th Annual Georgia Environmental Conference (GEC) on August 26-28 in Jekyll Island, Georgia.

His presentation will take place at the pre-conference workshop on Wednesday, August 26, and will highlight success stories on rural brownfields and the funding mechanisms involved that make them a success.  The Brownfields 101 with USEPA and USDA Rural Development workshop is the first of the pre-conference lineup.

“Anytime you are invited to present about success stories in which PM has been involved is exciting,” said Hargraves.

The four-day event is the state’s largest, most comprehensive and diverse educational conference on the subject. Over 700 local, state, and federal government officials, business and industry leaders, attorneys, consultants, engineers, developers, land owners, and many others with will be in attendance.

“We have not presented on this topic before in Georgia, so it will expand us to a new set of contacts and expose one of our strengths to a new audience,” he said.
