Michael Green Joins PM Environmental’s Florida Team as Senior Project Consultant

PM Environmental is proud to announce the addition of Michael Green, CHMM, CEP, as Senior Project Consultant in Tampa, Florida. 

Within this new role, Green will further develop PM’s growing presence in Florida. He’ll also be responsible for managing complex due diligence projects, coordinating multiple services lines as well as managing regional and national accounts with various lending institutions. 

His extensive background and experience have helped Green make the transition into his current position with PM. 

Green is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) and Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) with over 11 years of experience in environmental consulting and business development. He specializes in a wide variety of environmental due diligence services, including Transactional Screens, Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), and Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) for industrial, commercial, agricultural and undeveloped properties. He also has experience conducting Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) compliance audits and managing brownfield projects. 

Green is also a current adjunct faculty member at the University of Tampa where he has instructed chemistry for the past eight years. Previous positions include Senior Project Scientist/Due Diligence Manager at Golder Associates, Inc., and Due Diligence Group Leader and Project Manager at HSW Engineering, Inc.

Green obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., and Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University/New Institute of Technology in Newark, N.J.  

He’s currently a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association, Tampa Bay Association of Environmental Professionals, and Urban Land Institute (ULI).
