PM Environmental Announces Staff Promotions

PM Environmental (PM) is proud to announce the promotions of staff to new and expanded roles within the company. PM has promoted former Due Diligence project consultant David Balash to Senior Project Manager and Leaking Underground Storage Tank Project Manager Wesley Henson to LUST Regional Manager. Schafer will transition to a new role as Affordable Housing Coordinator.

Schafer joined PM in 2010 as a Staff Consultant in the Research Department. She specializes in conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Transaction Screen reports, and other customized environmental assessments to support all forms of real estate transactions.

In her new role as Affordable Housing Coordinator, she will be responsible for the coordination and completion of affordable housing projects across all service lines.

Balash joined PM in 2017 as a Staff Consultant, specializing in Environmental Due Diligence for commercial real estate transactions, such as Phase I ESAs, Transaction Screens and Environmental Risk Reviews. In his new role as Senior Project Manager, Balash will manage Due Diligence workflow in Southeast Michigan. Balash will also be the go-to contact for pricing and assigning Due Diligence projects in Southeast Michigan.

Henson started at PM in 2011 as a Project Geologist before being promoted to Project Manager/Senior Geologist in 2019. Henson will now serve as Regional Manager –

LUST.  Henson specializes in Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) emergency response, initial abatement, investigation, delineation, and remediation. Henson also specializes in environmental due diligence, Phase II ESAs and NPDES/POTW permit management.
